Still excited to use my new gouache paint, I wanted to paint something from my mind this time. The effort to get started was minimal, but it took me about an hour to really get into the flow of painting.
That happened once I had formed some kind of idea regarding the colorscheme. This led to more and more decisions that made the process of creating easier and clearer.

What it could become...

This painting makes me think of an ecosystem full of weird creatures and happenings. I can imagine it to be the setting for an animation, which would explore the world of the creatures in a mockumentary style way, filming and investigating the creatures 'alien' lives.
